Is anyone in this world perfect? Is anyone the best representation of society’s norms? People tend to think that when they make mistakes, they’re bad people. But who says? That’s part of being human, isn’t it?
Being human means making those mistakes and growing from them. It means becoming the most perfect version of yourself that you can be. It means shooting for the moon but maybe landing among the stars. Because you know what? If you reach the moon, what are you? But if you reach the stars, you know what you are?
You. Are. A. Star.
I write my articles because it may be something I need to hear, and sometimes it may be something that I know everyone else needs to hear. This time, it’s both. You don’t have anything to prove to anybody. You may think that you need to be this perfect person, and you may think that you need to put up a facade, but you don’t. You don’t need to be this different person because that’s what society or people around you want you to be.
Who you are is within you, and if you haven’t found it yet, you’re going to. And if you don’t, then create it. Life isn’t about becoming perfect. Life is about working past the imperfections and blemishes and scars and bruises. It isn’t about waking up one day and figuring out who you are.
Life is a journey. And if you think you’re not doing well right now… well, there’s always some turbulence, am I right?
Thanks for reading, love! You are so perfect <3
