dear reader,
i hope you’re doing well. this article is going to be short and sweet because time is precious, and i don’t want to take up too much of yours.
life is a rollercoaster, yes. but rollercoasters are to be perceived in a multitude of different ways - scary, stress-inducing, thrilling, etc. the ups and downs in a rollercoaster are like the good and bad moments we have in life. but through it all, there’s only one thing that matters: how we want to perceive it. (more on that a different week!)
there’s so much that goes down in our lives and as much as it seems best to hold grudges or stay mad, doesn’t that seem like so much work? i mean, sure, take your time to process or do what you need to do to get better and heal. but in the end, life’s too short to not live every moment to the fullest.
there’s so much i could continually dislike or complain about in my life. there are so many imperfections and deadlines and commitments and obligations. there are so many things that can take away from me being happy. and you being happy. and from all of us being happy. all i want in my life is the best for you and me and for everyone in the world.
so this is my wish. after reading mine, make yours and achieve it:
i just wanna be happy. i just wanna surround myself with those who care for me and love me and vice versa. i just wanna learn and grow and be the best me i can be. i just wanna make my impact and help numerous people. i just wanna have my perfect life, not the perfect life. and i just wanna be happy.

that being said, i do want to mention that it’s okay to not be happy or at your best sometimes. we all have our low moments, but you can do it. whatever it is you’re going through, it will be okay. but until then, feel what you need to feel. because it’s all valid <3
