Life is like a Ferris wheel. We have our ups, and we have our downs. We have our little creaky stages, and we have those moments where everything seems perfect. There are a variety of emotions just like the colorful seats. Life lights up and sometimes dulls down. Life can be so special just like at the top of the giant wheel. But it can also be scary when a leap of faith is near.Â
Life is like a Ferris wheel, and just like the time it takes to see the gorgeous views at the top, good things take time. Even if this may not be something that works out for everyone, I like to believe that every story has a happy ending and that if it’s not happy, then it’s not the end.Â
Everyone starts at the ground, just like on a Ferris wheel. Some people may have some head starts, but in the end, their time to shine will take just as long as everyone else’s. Right now, I think I’m reaching the top of my Ferris wheel.
In the recent past, my life has changed in so many beautiful ways, and I could not be happier about it.Â
I got a puppy!
I completed an important assessment.
I’ve been spending more time with my parents.
I met someone who is now one of my best friends.Â
I’m working towards a goal that I’ve been trying to reach for the past 4 years.Â
It’s starting to get sunny!!
Where are you on the Ferris wheel that is your life? And if you don’t like where you are, are you going to do something about it? Or… are you going to give life a chance to take you where you’re meant to be? Just like a Ferris wheel, life has a control. That control is in your hands so no matter what you do, do it for you. Focus on today. Today’s a good day. And don’t forget all it takes is one change - a person, a word, an achievement - to change everything.Â
It’s going to be a big night for you. One day you’re going to have all that you dreamt of, only after, though, you show life that you have the control.Â
